Benchmark Corrosion Protection
In the luxury fenestration industry, this level of defense is typically sold as a "Coastal Package" upgrade. At MIW, it is never an add-on—it is the engineered standard applied to every exterior door and window we build. Our systems are fortified to withstand moisture, salt air, and the harshest environments.
The MIW Protection Process

Every unit begins with hot-dip galvanized steel, establishing a robust, zinc-protected foundation before fabrication even begins. Once precisely assembled, the unit undergoes our rigorous, multi-stage protection sequence:
1. Hot-Dip Galvanized: Steel Premium steel is fully submerged to create a proven anti-corrosion foundation.
2. Fabrication & Assembly: Master welders meticulously assemble your custom system to precise architectural specifications.
3. Post-Fabrication Surface Preparation: All structural welds are precision-ground to ensure a flawless, seamless aesthetic canvas.
4. Sandblasting: High-pressure abrasive blasting creates the optimal surface profile for permanent coating adhesion.
5. Degrease (Pre-Metalize): A rigorous chemical degreasing removes all micro-impurities prior to the metalizing process.
6. Zinc Metalizing: Thermal-sprayed zinc creates a heavy-duty, self-healing barrier against extreme environmental wear.
7. Final Degrease / Final Prep: A final meticulous hand-cleaning ensures a pristine surface for the topcoat application.
8. Final Finish: Your bespoke paint, artisanal patina, or living metal finish is expertly applied.
